"Untitled" (for now)

Conceptual Sculpture. A Fetish themed body cast in a room with floor covered in free gay porn and sex-themed adverts. Piece equipped with a sound loop of a regular day-to-day conversation between two men in love. Work comments on stereotypes and patterns of gay community, exposes the audience to the extremes of nudity and privacy of relationship.

this picture is a result of mixing two photos taken in the same place but opposite directions. the bottom of st James' street, Brighton. Turned out really cool, somewhat confusing, especially for people who cross this path everyday.

One of ongoing projects thanks to magic of an iphone application 'Instagram' is me taking pictures of men Im lucky to meet on various parties around gay Brighton. Its an insight into Brighton and gay society, it also shows how easy it is to make new friends and how friendly and welcoming Brighton folks are. These are just few Ive been lucky to take, soon I'll be working with Bruno & Ben (The two beef cakes) on a proper photosession.

artistic plans for the future

... so far ive got few fair things to focus on:

• presentation for the art history seminar group (on thursday)
• a piece for the group crit before easter
• the satellite costume (which may become the above)
• and the major clean up of my studio space towrads the third year show
• need to pick a IIIrd year person to be their slave for a month too.. :)

• Mona Hatoum at Whitechapel
• Modern British Sculpture at the royal academy of art
• and locally: C O N V E R T A B L E (that's tonight at the old grubbs diner, Brighton)

so a trip to London would be necessary. So far so good! the plan is to work on documentation of pieces and also, while still waiting for reply from secret garden party - limit myself to no more projects for this term. End of our art being present in the studio - 29th march, then a month of help putting show up till May and working on our show? We shall see. Good luck me!!!
